Ooni, Fayemi, Olujimi others launch book on Akeredolu’s election

Akure—THE Ooni  of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has drummed support for the Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN.

The Ooni spoke in Akure at the launch of a book entitled: A Credible Leader For This Season, written by Lewis Asubiojo, a Director of the African Centre for Media and Information Literacy, Abuja.

The book contains vivid accounts of the 2016 governorship election from a keen observer’s point of view.

The first class traditional ruler described Governor Akeredolu as a humble and predestined leader, and therefore rallied support and prayers for his administration to succeed.

He enjoined the people of the state to join hands together with him to build a stste that would become a cynosure of all eyes.

According to him; “Building a society cannot be the work of one man,” just as he encouraged “lovers of Ondo State” to support the governor to take the state to greater heights.

The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Kayode Fayemi also presented a lecture entitled: A Salute to the Amazing Work of God , Courage and Self belief at the occasion.

The chairman of the book launch, a former Attorney General and Justice Minister, Chief Akin Olujimi described the Ondo State governor as a dependable ally, who has unimaginable passion for the uplift of fellow man and particularly, the all-round development of Ondo State.

While assuring the people of Ondo State of life impacting projects during the administration of  Akeredolu, olujimi solicited the people’s cooperation with the governor for timely delivery of his administration’s policies and programmes.

Fayemi, the guest speaker, said Governor Akeredolu is an exciting personality whose commitment to human development is unparalleled.
