AKURE — GOVERNOR Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State yesterday advised youths across the country to shun social vices like kidnapping, robbery, cultism, and violence which have led many to the path of destruction.
He gave the advice at the closing ceremony of the Orientation Course for the 2017 Batch ‘B’ stream one Corps members deployed to the state.

Akeredolu, who spoke through the Commissioner for Sport and Youth development, Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, said: “We are in an era where youths are seeking for a better life at all cost, not considering the risk involved.
“There is no harm in seeking for a better future, but it should be done with all sense of decency. Shun all social vices like kidnapping, robbery, cultism, violence and illegal migration which have led many vibrant youths to the path of destruction. “
The state NYSC coordinator, Mrs. Grace Akpabio, who commended the state government for improving the current hostels, said there was need to build four more blocks that would accommodate 400 Corps members.
