Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale, has made the decision over his Real Madrid future after the unveiling of Julen Lopetegui as the club’s manager on Thursday.
Bale has decided to work with Julen Lopetegui and is now ‘happy’ to stay at the club next season.
The Welshman had said after his two-goal display in Real Madrid’s Champions League final win against Liverpool that he would consider his future at the club.
ESPN reports that Zidane’s decision to step down as the club’s manager earlier this month and the hiring of Lopetegui has encouraged the former Tottenham’s forward to stay on.
Manchester United were encouraged by Bale’s comments after the final but the newspaper reports he’s now happy to stay in Spain.
However, Lopetegui is a huge admirer of Spanish forward, Isco so Bale’s problems at the club could persist and the Welshman could raise as much as £100m in the transfer market.
